Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has vie down reports that Tottenham's Gareth Bale is near moving to the Madrid, citing the £100 million fee for the Cambrian as "a ton of money".
Spurs chairman Daniel Levy control decisive talks with the Madrid chief in Sunshine State on, with the north London club holding out for a record bid for the PFA and FWA Player of the Year.
But Perez has refuted claims that a deal for Bale is near being stricken, and has baulked at the world-record fee Tottenham square measure exacting for the 24-year-old.
In Associate in Nursing interview with ESPN, Perez said: "We have spoken to a lot of individuals and let's examine what happens in our negotiations - with this player (Bale) et al.
